Epic, classic entertainment or art is always good news when it enters the culture as it lifts spirits, individually and collectively. Some might have personal issues re Travolta and maybe Grease wasn’t their cup of grease uh… tea…. but it was lively and upbeat and had great classic music and Marlin Brando said of Travolta’s performance that “he did everything that Shakespeare ever asked of an actor” which is one of the best compliments that I ever heard lol. ONJ in the black leather pants in the final scene may not have elevated the culture but certainly elevated other things lol – Gary

A traditional concept in organizational leadership is that people resist change, so the standard antidote is for strong leadership to manipulate change. Yet in this article, Margaret Wheatley upends this idea of control and shows that humans are similar to natural ecosystems with an inherent impulse to grow. Life always wants to emerge, create and evolve both on the individual level and within large groups. By allowing change to come from within a system, people can be engaged in their own evolution to find creative solutions to problems rather than being directed to change by an outside leader. The implication for everyday life, especially in these trying and anxious times, is that we can respond to seeming chaos by knowing there is a self-organizing principle at work in the world and that ultimately we can be hopeful as long as we participate in creating new life out of the turmoil.
